The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for the week of August 22 suggests Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will stun Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Also coming up this week, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will have a warning for Chelsea. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will come clean with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). And Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will force Billy’s hand.
Y&R spoilers tease Lily has been fed up with Billy’s lackadaisical attitude towards his COO position at Chancellor Winters. She feels as though he’s been spending way too much time on his podcast and she’s right. So, she’ll force him to make a choice. Does he want to remain her COO or be a full-time podcaster?
Y&R Weekly Scoop – Adam Asks Who He Covered For
Over at Newman ranch, Adam will stop by to get his stuff and Victor will invite him to join him for a drink. Adam will say he can’t get over the feeling Victor had something to do with Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) death. The Mustache will tell inform him any investigation into Ashland’s demise is now closed. “Naturally, you shut it down,” Adam will reply on Monday. “What the hell did you pull this time dad?” He’ll ask why there’s been so much secrecy for a routine crash.
“Did you cover for Nick, or Victoria?” Adam will inquire. “How did Ashland really die and how did you convince Chance to just look the other way?” Then Victor will tell his son what went down and he’ll warn him to leave Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) alone. Adam will say none of this would have happened if Victor had just trusted his original plan. “Maybe he would still be alive.”
Other Y&R spoilers tease Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) rivalry will continue. Plus, Adam will gain the upper hand on Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be stunned by Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) business decision.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Chelsea Denies Having Feelings
At the Dive Bar, Chloe will accuse Chelsea of having feelings for her new co-worker. “Billy turns on that Abbott charm and you lose perspective,” she says in the Y&R weekly promo. But Chelsea will vehemently deny it. “I’m not falling for Billy,” she’ll tell her friend. However, her actions will prove otherwise.
In the studio, Billy and Chelsea will work on their podcast. And he’ll tell Chelsea he’s grateful she came into the picture. “We are good together,” Billy will admit. “This relationship is unlike any other one that I have in my life – it’s a unique connection.” Then Chelsea will put her hands on either side of his face and pull him in for a kiss. But will Billy kiss her back, or push her away?
